The Great Faust

At the age of 83, ‘The Great Faust’ hopes to complete his life’s work and take ‘one of the oldest and greatest stage illusions’ back on the road to its spiritual home, Las Vegas.

But it’s been 35 years since he last performed ‘Find the Lady’ and he only has weeks to work out if he’s still got what it takes…

Sherlock Holmes – Online Game

We were approached by our friends at Warner to team up with digital agency, AKQA, on a ground breaking new game they were creating to promote the Sherlock Holmes film. Our brief was to deliver filmed content, which would carry similar production values to the work of Messrs Richie, Downey Jnr and Law. Spicer and Moore were granted permission to film on the working sets and managed to film for 3 days with a 7 man crew without stepping on anyone’s toes. 15 scenes were delivered to Warner and were subsequently used in the game.

Warner Brothers – The Hangover

Tell Them Who You Are Trailer

Spicer and Moore were asked to edit the trailer for Mark Wexler’s documentary, “Tell them who you are”. The documentary contains a cinematic blend of autobiography and biography and tells the story of Wexler’s relationship with his father Haskell Wexler, the legendary Oscar winning cinematographer and filmmaker.

Tunng & Tinariwen

Spicer and Moore produced, filmed and edited a 70-minute documentary DVD for the collaboration of English experimental folk band, Tuung, and legendary African desert Blues band Tinariwen. The band had four days to rehearse before commencing a ten-day tour, culminating at Camden’s iconic KOKO.

Secret Cinema – Blade Runner

Secret cinema is a monthly gathering of those that like their cinema to be challenging and ground breaking. Our film features highlights of the event as well as interviews with attendees. It took place in London’s Docklands where organisers brought to life the Blade Runner world using ‘Utopia Airways’ hostesses, albino Pythons, mock police and a reconstruction of the 2019 Chinatown cityscape.

Secret Cinema – Cuckoo’s nest

We produced the filmed content for Secret Cinema’s ‘One flew over the cuckoo’s nest’ event. Secret Cinema is a monthly gathering of everyone who loves challenging and ground-breaking cinema. The film features highlights of the event as well as interviews with the fans who attended. It took place in London’s Ladbroke Grove at an abandoned hospital where they recreated the Cuckoo’s nest ‘world’. We have filmed the last three events for our friends at Future shorts.
